Do I think that cutting back on artificial sugars is a good idea?  Yes!  Absolutely.  

But I also have a hard core sweet tooth and need something to help curb those cravings when they happen.

So, coming up with an easy and delicious dessert has been a bit of a challenge.  But here is something you might not know about me!  I love a good challenge.  

And my killer sweet tooth won’t subside sometimes. I made these chocolate chip muffins when I absolutely needed to curb the craving.

Chocolate desserts don’t have to be complicated or have any added sugar.  This vegan chocolate pudding is a perfect example of a recipe that only uses 3 ingredients, takes about 5 minutes and is so delicious, you won’t realize it’s healthy.

  • 2 large ripe bananas broken apart
  • 1 medium avocado chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • In a blender, place all ingredients in and mix until combined.

  • Place in the refrigerator or freezer for about 20 minutes to make it colder, if you would like.  Serve immediately.

You can add honey to sweeten this up if needed. 

Adding honey is not vegan, so if you are following a vegan diet, honey will not work for you.

Feel free to freeze this overnight to have a helping of cold “ice cream” the next day.
